Jade grew up in the great state of Iowa – not on a farm, but she does appreciate Iowa sweet corn in the summer! She studied business and education at the University of Iowa while building her first startup, Funny Nuggets. Funny Nuggets was a comedy clubhouse for kids that performed pop-up comedy shows at schools, libraries, and rec centers. The cool part was that kids got to be part of the show! After graduating she taught middle school STEM online while traveling. She spent a few months living in Breckenridge, CO, skiing, hiking, and camping after school. She recently completed a Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship at UPenn and is launching her next startup, Jolt Education. Jolt is an EdTech tool that allows teachers to drag and drop short educational videos into their lesson presentations. Jade is thrilled to return to Colorado and join the (HS)2 Team!
