Hey, I’m Kevin! I moved to Durango, Colorado in 2004 via Chicago, LA, and Milwaukee. I spent 6 years at Fort Lewis College in Durango while skiing, mountain biking, and running the rivers of the Southwest as a whitewater guide. My life changed when I discovered outdoor education through the National Outdoor Leadership School when I spent 3 months living out of a backpack and a sea kayak in Patagonia. This was also my introduction to wilderness medicine which I parlayed into a 7-year career working for the Aspen Snowmass Ski Patrol. My passion for helping the sick and injured pushed me to move to Denver for 4 years to earn my Bachelor’s in Nursing Science and became a Registered Nurse. I spent a year in a busy Denver ER before moving back home here in the Roaring Fork Valley. I love encompassing health through exercise in our great outdoor environment and look forward to experiencing everything with you all this summer!
