Mckenzie Myers

Student Support Specialist

University of Michigan

With a deep love of the outdoors instilled in her from growing up in Maine, Mckenzie received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Law at the University of Michigan. At the age of 20, she hopped on a plane to Wyoming with her sights set on a summer job on a dude ranch. After working several summers on the ranch and graduating with her bachelor’s, she moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. One winter quickly turned into six years of raft guiding, working at the ski resort, and community advocacy work. Through these experiences, she discovered a passion for working with individuals and communities and found a deep desire to cultivate a greater understanding of connection, healing, and mental health. Following her desires, Mckenzie graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming this spring. She is thrilled to be joining the HS[2] community and is excited to work with individuals to help them become the experts and leaders of their own lives. In her free time, you can find Mckenzie on or near a river, listening to ABBA, or exploring the mountains with her dog, Frankie.
