Resident Assistant and TA for College Counseling

B.S. in Youth Advocacy and Educational Studies with a specialization in Psychology, Texas Christian University

Appointed 2021
I am a recent graduate of Texas Christian University where I obtained a B.S in Youth Advocacy and Educational Studies with a specialization in Psychology. This upcoming fall I will be continuing my education at the Boston University School of Medicine for an M.A in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. I have many passions and interests but my main drive in life is to advocate for marginalized populations, fight for equity and justice, and empower others to heal and grow from their worst predicaments.
I am a graduate of the [HS]2 class of 2017 and ever since I graduated from the program I have sought ways to give back as I understood what the program gave to me. [HS]2 set a foundation for academic excellence that has propelled me thus far and I want to inspire the same growth and transformation for the students I will be working with.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, meditating, spending time in nature, traveling, or playing soccer.
