(HS)² 20-Year Reunion Celebration

July 17–19, 2026 | Carbondale, Colorado

Twenty summers. Countless memories. One community coming home.

Summer 2026 marks 20 years of the (HS)² Program, and we are thrilled to welcome alumni and supporters back to Carbondale for a weekend of reconnection, reflection, and celebration. Together, we’ll honor two decades of impact and the many ways (HS)² has shaped lives and communities across the country.

While some details are still taking shape, the vision is clear: meaningful time together, shared experiences rooted in program traditions, and a joyful look toward the future of (HS)².

Travel Expand

Alumni will be responsible for booking flights into and out of Colorado.

Recommended Airports

FAQs Expand

Do I need to attend the full weekend?

Not at all. Alumni are welcome to join for any portion of the weekend that works for their schedule. The RSVP form will allow you to indicate which events you plan to attend.

I'm worried about the cost of travel. Should I still come?

Yes - please know that your presence truly matters. We recognize that travel costs can be significant, which is why (HS)² is covering all meals, activities, and group transportation during the weekend. If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to reach out. We want this celebration to be as accessible as possible.

Is lodging provided?

Because the (HS)² program will be in session, on-campus housing is not available. Alumni will book their own lodging, and we’ve identified walkable, affordable options and group rates to help reduce costs.

Can I bring a partner or family member?

Yes! Partners and family members are welcome for many events. Details about which activities are alumni-only versus open to guests will be shared in advance, and guest information will be collected in the RSVP.

What if I can't make it but want to stay involved?

We’ll share ways to celebrate from afar, including opportunities to support the program and engage with alumni stories following the weekend.

What should I wear?

Dress is casual and comfortable for most of the weekend. For the 20-Year Celebration Brunch, we suggest festive or semi-polished attire — whatever feels like “celebration” to you.

Who can I contact with questions?

Please reach out to Annie Oppenheim with any questions about travel, lodging, accessibility, or participation. We’re happy to help.

RSVP

We know that travel can be a significant commitment, and we want this weekend to be as accessible as possible.

Please know: your presence matters. Whether you joined (HS)² for one summer or many, your story is part of this celebration.
