A Day in the life
Here’s an idea of what YOUR day might look like if you come to (HS)2.
7:00 – 8:00 a.m. Breakfast in the Bar Fork Collapse
Fuel up with eggs, bacon and more as you wake up, connect with friends, and finish some homework if needed!
8:05 – 10:05 a.m. PreCalculus Expand
Collaborate with classmates in PreCalculus class with Lisa. Enjoy a hands-on and project-oriented approach to solidifying those math skills to get you ready for next year!
10:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. Biology Class Expand
Get your hands dirty (literally) in biology class with Alex. Explore the Basalt Mountain burn zone on one of many field trips to understand the local ecology.
12:15 – 1:00 p.m. Lunch in the Bar Fork Expand
Connect with teachers and friends when you eat inside or out at the Bar Fork for lunch. If you finish lunch early, you might want to check out the game room and challenge a friend to a game of ping-pong.
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. College Counseling Expand
Prepare to apply to college in College Counseling class with Betsy. Refine your college list and start gathering materials to complete your FAFSA. Then, start brainstorming for that personal statement!
3:15 – 5:30 p.m. Active Expand
Rock climbing in the CRMS climbing gym with BJ and Tracy. Put your climbing shoes on, spot a friend, and complete your own project!
6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Dinner in the Bar Fork Expand
Relax and regroup after an action packed day. Enjoy some veggies from the CRMS garden and be sure to try the nightly dessert!
7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Study Hall Expand
Complete your homework in your dorm. Have a question about that math assignment? No problem, the math teacher is heading your way on her nightly rotation through the dorms.
9:30 p.m. Evening Activity Expand
Play a game with your dorm mates, tidy up your space, and wind down to prepare for another big day!
Sleep well! And turn that phone off. Another big day tomorrow!
