I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today if not for my experience at [HS]2. I come from a low-income family with limited education, so I never thought attending a four-year university would be possible. However, [HS]2 completely altered my trajectory by giving me three amazing summers surrounded by other students like me who had a vision but had no means of unlocking that potential. During my time at [HS]2, I greatly benefited from the: (1) STEM courses, which helped me be more prepared for my high school classes, (2) extra-curricular activities, which helped get my creative juices flowing, and (3) college counseling class, which provided me with the resources to pursue higher education.
